Il professor Stefano Della Torre, in qualità di Chairholder della Cattedra UNESCO “Architectural Preservation and Planning in Heritage Cities” ha preso parte all’evento “Preserving Cultural Heritage and Caring Communities’ Collective Memory amidst War in Ukraine”, organizzato dall’UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe.

L’apertura dei lavori si è tenuta il 23 maggio 2025 alle ore 17:00 a Venezia, presso Palazzo Zorzi.

Panel discussion: 17.30-18.15: “The role of culture in preserving the social fabric of communities in conflict contexts: challenges, strategic priorities and possible way forward” 18.15-18.50: “World Heritage Sites in emergency contexts: from immediate response to the development of integrated and sustainable management systems “

Professor Stefano Della Torre, as Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair “Architectural Preservation and Planning in Heritage Cities,” took part in the event “Preserving Cultural Heritage and Caring Communities’ Collective Memory amidst War in Ukraine,” organized by the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe.

The opening session was held on May 23, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in Venice, at Palazzo Zorzi.

Panel discussion:

5:30-6:15 pm: “The role of culture in preserving the social fabric of communities in conflict contexts: challenges, strategic priorities and possible ways forward.”

6:15-6:50 p.m.: “World heritage sites in emergency contexts: from immediate response to the development of integrated and sustainable management systems.”

 

The exhibition remains open until July 6, 2025.
